The hazard perception tests is the second part of the driving theory tests

There is a special institution in the UK which is responsible for all issues connected with driving and driving examinations. The Driving Standards Agency (DSA), because this is the name of this institution, is an executive agency of the UK Department for Transport. DSA´s contribution focuses on setting standards for drivers, riders and trainers, driver education and the provision of learning resources, registering and supervising quality assured instructors and modern, effective and efficient assessments conducted as computer based and practical tests. After you have your provisional license, taking your driving theory test is the next step in getting a full license. The hazard perception tests is the second part of the driving theory tests. You need to pass both parts to pass the theory tests. Once you have passed the theory tests you can then apply to take your practical driving tests. Your driving tests will start with an eyesight check and some vehicle safety questions. You will then start your practical driving tests which will last about 40 minutes. Throughout the tests your examiner will be looking for an overall safe standard of driving, including when you are carrying out the set exercises. 15 driving faults is allowed. However, if you commit one serious or dangerous fault you will fail the tests.
