Thinking of becoming a driving instructor
If you are thinking of becoming a driving instructor, I strongly advise you to read this entry before you decide to take any steps. I worked as a driving instructor for three years. I suppose today the theory and practical tests for future driving instructors are much more difficult, at least from my point of view. But maybe you think it"s all worth it. You probably imagine yourself working flexible hours, maybe just three or four days a week. You might also think the job is easy: you meet interesting people, talk to them as they drive through the city. And you might believe a driving instructor earns and incredible amount of money. But I must disappoint you. You will often have to work on Friday afternoons and in the evenings. Weekends are not excluded either; many students don"t have enough time during the week. What is more, and what also is especially important, the job can be extremely stressful. I often had to teach people who were frustrated after their day at work, angry at the whole word, forced to be there by their bosses or spouses, and not really motivated. Some young people can also be very irresponsible. On numerous occasions, a arranged a meeting only to find out the person couldn"t come five minutes before the lesson, and the news was actually texted to me. Do you still want to be a driving instructor? Think it over before you pay for the course!
